Strauss now has its own in-house degree program! The bird stands for next level – also in terms of training. The next step: we are building the perfect degree program for our vertical Strauss setup. Specifically, this means we are developing specialization modules that integrate our Strauss success strategy into the degree program: branding, e-commerce, sports business & media partnerships, textile innovation and much more.

Our Strauss Academy will launch in 2025 with its first tailor-made degree program:
International Business (IB)! Dual education is the new gold standard in business anyway. At Strauss, you’ll get both sides of the gold medal in future – studying in-house
and working in-house. After three years, your STRAUSS ACADEMY studies will award you an
accredited bachelor’s degree – and almost certainly a top job at the Bird.

CAMPUS HOUSING

The STRAUSS ACADEMY offers campus housing based on the
North American model – in the brand new Strauss ALEA RESORT.
There we have apartments for our students – including a gym –
and ALEA PARK right on our doorstep. Yoga and jogging in the park,
sports classes after work, a round of tennis or a delicious crema with
colleagues at the Strauss Lehrcafé BOTANICA. The Strauss campus has been around
since 2015 and is now officially becoming a university campus. Lecture halls in the
CI Factory, working at the Strauss headquarters – living in the boomtown of
Bad Orb. Just a few minutes’ drive from the Strauss headquarters. A great
package overall, right?

CALIFORNIA CALLING - STUDY ABROAD

What is university like in Los Angeles? What is life like in Malibu? What does the American way of life really feel like? Those who go out into the world grow. That is why the STRAUSS ACADEMY is working closely with a renowned university in LA. Study abroad, and do it properly! A pre-summer school is planned for the start of the program, as well as the option of a semester abroad during the course of study.

ACCREDITED EDUCATION PARTNER

We are designing the curriculum for the initial, accredited International Business (IB) degree program
together with our education partner, Provadis University – perfectly matching with the vertical profile of our bird.

EDUCATION AT STRAUSS

Education has always been a high priority for Strauss. We are constantly expanding our in-house training and study programs. We now offer more than 20 training and study courses. And we are doing a lot more besides: in 2021, we established a chair for sustainability and textile innovation in Bangladesh. Together with Don Bosco Mission, Strauss recently built a school in Bangladesh. In 2015, the Strauss family made possible the construction of the new Antonius von Padua School – a state-approved inclusive elementary and special needs school in Fulda. In Laos, Strauss helped fund the construction of a middle school and an elementary school. ALEA initiator Henning Strauss recently announced the construction of the international ALEA SCHOOL in Bad Orb.
